'Queen City' is the site of 2009 Annual Meeting; Museums; Car Collections... And More!

Cincinnati—the “Queen City”—is the site of the 2009 CCCA Annual Meeting. The meeting, hosted by the Indiana Region, will take place January 7-11.

Among the attractions available for attendees are the Krohn Conservatory, Cincinnati Art Museum, Taft Museum of Art, Behringer-Crawford Museum and the Unioin Terminal Museum. In addition to those local attractions, the Indian Region has arranged visits to D & D Restorations, the Dayton-based Packard Museum, the Dave Noran Collection, the Rick Grant Collection and Euro Classics. There’ll also be a riverboat cruise and dinner.

In addition to the annual CCCA Membership Meeting there’ll be meetings of the regional directors and editors and the CCCA Museum.

Headquarters hotel is the Hilton Netherland Plaza, one Cincinnati’s most historic hotels.

CCCA's Flooded Offices Gutted, Await Reconstruction; Files in Storage, Office Work Continues Off-Site...

Update: CCCA’s national offices in Des Plaines have been gutted following the disastrous flood in mid-September. At its November 9-10 meetings at the Courtyard Marriott hotel in Des Plaines, the board created a special committee to explore its options and take action. In the meantime the club’s two-person office staff is diligently working from the basement of one of the staff members. The surviving office contents are in storage. All office furniture, with the exception of two conference tables, was destroyed in the flood.
