947 Cadillac 75 Fleetwood is a seven-passenger limousine that was delivered new to the Scott Smith Cadillac Company of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where it was purchased by William S. Paley, the founder of CBS Broadcasting. It was subsequently sent to the Derham Body Company, where it was modified with custom formal blind corner bodywork. It was gifted by Paley to his sister, Blanche Paley Levy, prior to completion of the bodywork, and remained in the Levy family until 1978.
