New England Region Grand Classic 2026

A month before our country’s 250th birthday, the New England Region will again be hosting a Grand Classic at Heritage Museums and Gardens in beautiful Sandwich, Massachusetts (just over the Sagamore bridge on Cape Cod). If you have come to one of our Grand Classics before you know what a beautiful venue it is. If you haven’t, come see the Full Classics® on the lawn, the stunning gardens and the car museum. The Car Barn at Heritage holds a spectacular collection of 43 antique and Full Classic® automobiles, including Gary Cooper’s 1930 Duesenberg J Derham Tourster, a 1932 Auburn Boattail Speedster and the first presidential automobile, President Howard Taft’s 1909 White Steamer. Come for the day or join us for the pre-Grand Classic events on Friday.
Arrive and check in on Thursday in time for a welcome dinner at one of our local restaurants. Friday is going to be “Classic Skills Games,” a fun event, on grass, of our Full Classics® participating in different low speed driving challenges. Be prepared to test your driving skills and your navigator’s coordination and direction giving skills. This promises to be a low key, fun filled event to enjoy your Classics and challenge your wits. Prizes to be awarded. Saturday will be the Grand Classic to be held on the lawn at Heritage with live music. The awards banquet will be at the Heald Center in the Car Barn at Heritage. Pre-dinner cocktails will be among the Classics and antiques in the Barn with live music.
