In the late afternoon, we unveil the recent restoration of the Museum’s 1933 Weymann American Bodied Stutz DV-32. It’s a stunning car and a jewel in the CCCAM Permanent Collection.  Afterwards, cocktails are available on the new Katie Robbins Plaza followed by a delicious BBQ dinner near the Museum.

Saturday Morning a driving tour will leave from the CCCA Museum to visit Bill Parfet's stunning collection as well as an amazing architectural gem in Battle Creek. The day tour will return to the Museum for a session  about great American automotive design with retired GM designer, Dick Ruzzin. The day will end with the annual CCCAM Banquet at the Radisson Hotel, in downtown Kalamazoo.

Highlights will include video of Bill “BoJangles” Robinson’s great tap dancing in movies, some with child star Shirley Temple, and his 1935 Duesenberg Model JN costumed with Bohman & Schwartz bumpers, headlamps, and parking lights. The car was carefully restored and loaned to the CCCAM especially for this exhibit by Rob Hilarides of Visalia, CA.

Meet the New President of the CCCA Museum: Candace (Robbins) Haag

Some of you may remember my mother Katie Robbins. She announced as President of CCCA 40 years ago the development of the CCCA Museum.

It is with sense of honor and humility that I accepted the position of President of the Museum at the beginning of this year.

As Katie stated: “It is an exciting time for the CCCA, a new purpose, an opportunity to endow a legacy from the past, our beloved Classic Cars to the future.”

Thanks Katie, you are right, and that is exactly what we plan to do.

Please make plans to join us June 3-5 2022 and Experience American Luxury at our expanded museum.
