2012 Boca Raton Concours d’ Elegance

Rick Case of the Rick Case Automotive Group is a member of the Classic Car Club of America (CCCA) and the volunteer producer and founder of one of the most financially successful and fastest growing Concours in the nation. He continues to see to it that each year the Boca Raton Concours d’ Elegance grows, bringing together new supporters, introducing exciting new event components and showcasing even more exotic classic automobiles and motorcycles.

And, this year is no different.

The 6th annual Boca Raton Concours d’ Elegance in 2012 is shining a much deserved light on the 50th Anniversary of Shelby Cobra and the 100th Anniversary of Aston Martin during a three-day span of festivities from February 24 through 26, 2011.

All to benefit a deserving cause, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County, the entire Boca Raton Concours team is comprised of a group of volunteers who dedicate their personal time to the planning and execution of the event, with no paid promoters, producers or staff.

The weekend kicks off Friday night with the "duPont Registry Live!" Hangar Party at the Boca Raton Airport, followed by the Saturday night black-tie gala dinner and live auction at the renowned Boca Raton Resort & Club, featuring a world-class comedian performance (prior years have included Jay Leno, Dennis Miller, Howie Mandell and Bill Cosby).

The weekend concludes with the famed Sunday Concours, drawing thousands of automotive enthusiasts and showcasing some of the finest collector cars and motorcycles in the world. An expert panel of judges will select the finest cars based on a preset criterion to include period, presentation and authenticity.

New and exciting additions to this year’s event include the unveiling of the brand new, expanded showfield, which has been completely renovated by the Boca Raton Resort & Club. Not only has the showfield doubled in size, but it is the only golf course ever to be converted specifically for a Concours.

Additionally, RM Auctions and Sotheby’s will lift the gavel on the world renowned Milhous Collection in Boca Raton on February 23, 24 and 25, 2012 during the Boca Raton Concours d’ Elegance, featuring an unprecedented collection of classic automobiles, mechanical musical instruments and collectibles. For automotive enthusiasts, the upcoming sale will present a superb gathering of over 30 classic automobiles, spanning 90 years of automotive history.

It’s clear that Rick Case has merged his passions for classic automobiles and philanthropy into one extraordinary event – the Boca Raton Concours d’ Elegance. As a fellow member of the CCCA he is offering a personal invitation to join in on the fun by bringing a car to the show. Vehicle submissions for participation in the Automobile and Motorcycle exhibition are still being accepted.
