CCCA Member Chris Bock Appointed Chief Judge of Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance

It been announced that Chris Bock will lead the corps of judges at the world’s most legendary showing of automobiles, the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. Bock has been active in the concours for 50 consecutive years.Bock

A native of California, Bock will succeed Ed Gilbertson and take the reigns at the conclusion of this year’s concours. Mr.Gilbertson will continue to serve both as chief judge emeritus and as a member of the Pebble Beach selection committee.

Bock was appointed a class judge in 1973, and he often served as chief class judge for American Classics. He also oversees field operations and serves on the selection committee that vets possible entries for Pebble Beach.

Chris is a past as president and national head judge of the Classic Car Club of America and editor of The Cormorant for The Packard Club.
