Our office is here to help you with any membership issues such as change of address, new member information or other normal aspects of Club business. Unfortunately, there are some questions we just can't answer. While we really do want to be helpful, please keep in mind a few basics.
|
| How much is my
car worth?
Our office staff is not
qualified to give you an educated guess. There are publications such as the Old
Cars Price Guide which may help. If you are really serious, you
should enlist the services of an appraiser in your area. |
|
| Where do I get a
part for my car? Beats
us.
We're still looking for parts for our cars. That's part of the fun of the
hobby. Hemmings, and Old Cars Weekly feature want ads for
car collectors. Visiting Swap Meets is also a good place to look. If
you are a CCCA member' you'll find lots of parts for sale listed in the
Classified Ad section of our publication, The Bulletin. These ads
can also be found on this web site under "Classified Ads." |
|
| I have a vehicle for
sale. Please tell your membership. If
you are a member of CCCA, you can submit a free ad in The Bulletin and it
will also be posted on our web site in the "Classified Ad" Department.
You may also post your ad at no charge on our Discussion Forums. Please
make sure that the car qualifies as Full Classic™ (1925 thru 1948)
or your ad will be deleted. You can also post a message on our
Buy/Sell Discussion Forum at no charge. (You do not have to be a Club member). |
|
| I need a car for my
wedding. The
Club is not in the car
rental business, and does not have listings of those who are. You are
welcome to post your request on our Internet
Discussion
Forum at no charge. |
|
| Who owns my
Grandfather's car?
(This is one of
the worlds greatest challenges. Since your local DMV doesn't have this
information, it is extremely unlikely that CCCA does either. Posting
your question on our
Discussion
Forum, may yield results. It's amazing what and who our member
know.) |
|
| Please write a
term paper for me about old cars.
Oh, come on now. Doesn't
your school have a library? |
|
| I need financial
information about your club. Can we
have a copy of your financial statement and a couple of credit
card numbers too? |
|
| Please send me the names and addresses of all your members so we can send them exciting news about a "special offer." No comment required |
Wecan't help with questions like those above. Even so, there are answers to most of your questions. Post them in the CCCA Discussion Forums. You'll be amazed at the help you'll get from other Classic car enthusiasts on the net.
